A little about me...
How I work

You may find yourself feeling stuck in old patterns, weighed down by painful stories from your past, or searching for tools to face life’s challenges with more ease. My role is to help you make sense of those stories, find compassion for yourself, and create new ways forward.

Together, we’ll look at your story — honoring both the struggles and the strengths. I’ll support you in finding new perspectives so that what once felt painful can become a source of resilience. My goal is to help you move forward with balance, confidence, and tools you can return to when life inevitably brings new challenges.
Why I Do This Work

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to people’s stories. Before becoming a licensed marriage and family therapist, I spent over a decade working in brand marketing for global companies. That experience gave me a firsthand understanding of the pressures, challenges, and transitions that so many of my clients now face. While I enjoyed the creativity of that work, I realized what I cared most about was not the stories of products, but the stories of people. That insight led me to pursue my true calling as a therapist.

Like many of my clients, I know what it’s like to sit on the couch and wrestle with relationships, loss, transitions, and self-worth. My own journey through grief, parenthood, loss, and career transitions shape my work and allow me to meet you with both empathy and practical tools.

Professional Experience
I hold an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from The Wright Institute, Berkeley and a B.A. in Psychology from Claremont McKenna College. My advanced training includes Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and individuals, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment-Focused EMDR (Parnell Institute), Compassionate Inquiry with Gabor Maté, and Inclusive Eating Disorder approaches. I have provided therapy in San Francisco, Marin County, and virtually across California since 2016, working with individuals, couples, and families on challenges including anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, and disordered eating recovery.
Alongside my clinical work, my decade-long career in brand marketing for global companies gives me a unique perspective on workplace stress, career transitions, burnout, and the challenges of balancing professional and personal life. This background helps me connect with clients navigating high-pressure environments or seeking more meaning in their careers.
